On this the initial thought was what if there was a turtle character that was just absolutely violent. We always see these turtle characters that are thin, wispy, wise, and peaceful. However that is nothing like my own pet turtle. My turtle wants to rip fish apart, destroy the terrain, uproot the water filter, and bite things. Another thing I always thought was a bit odd is that turtles aren't thought of as having the immense strength they do, the shell on a turtle actually developed to assist in digging by providing more bony parts for muscles to attach to and if you ever try to pull a turtle against where it wants to go you'll see very quickly that all that muscle is still there today. There were hours of ideation on how to make this guy cooler and what accessories to add, but in the end it was decided that simpler was better since it had such a distinct silhouette.
